The new Katy Perry Eylure Lashes in Feline Fierce ($6.99)
I’m feline pretty fierce in these new false lashes by Katy Perry.

Che cosa…? too pun-ny?

Sorry, couldn’t resist. I had to go there.

Truth be told, I wanted to try these mostly because K.P. is one my favorite cat ladies, and I think she and Tabs would get along swimmingly.

As far as cats go, he’s quite the charmer…

Sexy time!
I wonder if Feline Fierce, one of four new styles recently released in Katy Perry’s Eylure Lash line, was a shout-out to like-minded kitty enthusiasts like me.

Whatever it was, it worked! It definitely captivated this particular CCL.

Here kitty, kitty…
For starters, I like how the outer sections of lashes are longer and denser than the inner ones. I think it makes my eyes look a little longer and more lifted and mmmmrrrooow! that much more feline. especially when worn with jazzier eyeshadow looks.

Meow-za!

Also, big lashes like these aren’t always comfortable. I’ve worn similar styles before and usually end up peeling them off after an hour or two with a headache from the weight and tension, but these — they’re pretty lightweight and comfy for a set this full and bold. I wore them for hours yesterday without issue.

And they were easy to apply. all of Katy’s lashes come with their own adhesive, so all I did was run the thinnest amount along the length of the lash strip, wait about 30 seconds to get sticky, then look down into a mirror and pop them directly on top of my natural lashes. since they fit me purr-fectly, I didn’t even have to trim the edges, although I think they would have been easy to trim if I had.

That’s the Clarins vibrant Light Eye Quartet Mineral palette on my eyes…
Like the three other styles in the Katy Perry Lashes line, Feline Fierce is handmade and reusable, and they’re available now at drugstores, Ulta and ulta.com for just $6.99.

WARNING: the following paragraph includes something funny/gross. Parental discretion is advised.

So when I was making the bed this morning I noticed a dark brown spot on the duvet cover.

(You can probably already see where this is going.)

It looked like melted chocolate, which made sense, because El Hub has been covertly eating from a bag of Toll house chocolate Chips I got last week to use in my protein pancakes.

I was taking a deep breath to yell at El Hub when I realized 1) that the spot was on my side of the bed, and 2) it was in the area where Tabs likes to sleep.

Already sensing that something terrible was about to happen, I leaned down to sniff the spot…

EWWW! Not chocolate at all! It was kitty poop!!

Aaaaaand these are the days of my cat lady life.

May you have a cat poop-free Thursday, my friend.
